This license agreement concerns and describes your rights and the conditions upon which you may use the Pine DSP software you selected. We advise you to read this entire agreement. By accepting this agreement or by using Pine DSP software, you agree to all of these terms. If you do not accept and comply with these terms, you may not use the Pine DSP software or its features.
This license agreement applies to all Pine DSP software, plug-ins and programs, of any version, including any and all upgrades, supplements or services, unless other terms come with such versions, upgrades or supplements.
Pine DSP software is licensed to you, the Customer, not sold. Your license is activated using the software’s built-in activation feature, which links it to your Pine DSP account, and gives you the right to install, run and use the Pine DSP software product(s) included in your purchase, under the conditions below.
A Personal License is a named license granting the individual who purchased it access to the licensed software on three (3) devices at a time. You may deactivate the license on a device you no longer need through your account on our website, freeing that seat for use on another device, subject to reasonable limits to prevent abuse. Usage of a Personal License by anyone other than the person who purchased it is a violation of these terms; you are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
A Personal License gives you the right to install and use the licensed software to the extent it has been developed, under the conditions in this agreement. Any rights not explicitly granted to you remain with Pine DSP, including but not limited to the right to alter, reverse engineer, reverse compile, decompile, or disassemble the software or any files in its distribution.
Unless cancelled due to a breach of these terms, all licenses are granted in perpetuity — this agreement does not automatically expire at any point in time.
To verify correct use and compliance with these terms, Pine DSP software may periodically contact our servers to confirm the validity of your license on the device it is installed on. If such use is found not to comply with these terms, further access to the software may be denied.
In addition to any other rights Pine DSP may have under law, Pine DSP may terminate this license without prior notice in case of abuse of the software or fraud.
To activate and verify your license, Pine DSP software communicates with our license verification system, which may receive a device identifier and license/account information. This is required for the software to function under a valid license and is not used for any other purpose.
If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, the email address you provide is handled by a third-party email service provider on our behalf, solely for that purpose. Pine DSP does not otherwise collect, sell, or share your personal data.
Pine DSP will make reasonable commercial efforts to support current major versions of its software, including email support at support@pinedsp.com. Pine DSP may discontinue support for a given major version of its software at any time, at its sole discretion.
A Personal License may be transferred to another individual. To request a transfer, contact us at support@pinedsp.com. Transfers are handled manually at Pine DSP’s discretion. There is currently no charge for a transfer, though this may change in the future. Once a license has been transferred, you will no longer have access to the software under that license.
